At Maison Margiela’s core are the ideas, codes and values that have, for decades, shaped the brands heritage, and will continue to shape its future. Across a series of exhibitions and immersive experiences, the brand’s foundational codes are brought into focus through an exploration of their physical and digital archival materials.

 

The exhibitions begin with Margiela’s Autumn/Winter 2026 show, taking place at Shanghai Fashion Week. The show will then be followed by a series of exhibitions and experiences across four cities in China, dedicated to the house’s four foundational codes: Artisanal, Anonymity, Tabi and Bianchetto.
