Casper Sejersen's Exhibition 'Virgo' at Deuss Gallery

‘Virgo’ by Casper Serjerson is an evocative journey into balance control and spontaneity.

Casper Sejersen’s solo show at the Deuss Gallery will open on Friday, September 6th (6-9 pm) and will run until October 27th, 2024.

Sejersen, a long time Beauty Papers collaborator and known for his own enigmatic aesthetic explores ‘Virgo’ through ten exquisite works, a video, and a captivating installation, Sejersen delves into the intricate layers of his anti-heroine’s being. Each piece captures a fleeting moment in time, revealing the fragmented yet compelling facets of her persona. The model featured in this work is Polish actress Joanna Kulig.

Visitors to the exhibition will be invited to navigate the delicate balance between control and spontaneity, order and chaos. Sejersen’s masterful use of light, shadow, and composition offers a profound exploration of femininity and the timeless allure of the Virgo archetype.

In addition to the artworks, the gallery will offer exclusive ashtrays and incense sticks for sale. Casper Sejersen will be present at the gallery on Thursday and Friday, and possibly on Saturday as well.
