Sue Tilley’s Everyday Essentials

I love putting on make up… It makes me feel so much more lively and ready to face the day, but it doesn’t take long as I wear more or less the same things everyday.

I don’t wear foundation unless I’m going  for a big night out. But I might put a little bit of Benefit Bo-ing Airbrush concealer under my eyes and on any blotches. I always use NARS Exhibit A blush. An ex make-up artist gave it to me about 5 years ago and it still looks like I’ve never used it. The colour is so intense you only need the tiniest bit… I reckon my palette will last me until I die.

I love Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow as it very soft and the colours go on very smoothly. I usually use the Golden Goddess Palette but if I am going somewhere special I’ll use my very expensive Tom Ford Golden Mink palette. Then I will smudge some NARS NightBreed black sparkly shadow round my eyes as I find proper liner too harsh.

And then my favourite bit … red lipstick. I must have about 30. I usually wear MAC: Ruby Woo, Lady Danger and Red Rock are my best colours, but I’m also keen on Chanel and Marc Jacobs.

In this seasons Big Brother I was fascinated by the white dot that some of the girls put on the end of their noses so if I’m feeling particularly jolly I might put a dab of Baby Face highlighter on the end of mine. It’s so pale you can hardly see it but it makes me laugh to know that it is there.

I am slightly obsessed by the world of face sculpting and keep meaning to have a go just to see what it looks like but I’m very hesitant as I don’t like the feeling of my face being caked in make up… or I might love it so much I’ll have to spend at least 30 minutes everyday doing my face instead of he usual three.
